It's Been a While...But Maybe That's a Good Thing!

As you might have noticed, it's been well over a month since I've posted anything to this blog. Between finishing my semester at WSC, changing more diapers than I ever imagined, and trying to keep up with my various other responsibilities I simply haven't had time to attend to this blog. But maybe that's a good thing; it certainly is according to this rant by Carl Trueman:

To be blunt, the ability to set up your own blog site and having nothing better to do with your time than warble on incessantly about how clever you are and how idiotic are all those with whom you disagree—well, that does not actually make you eligible to be called a scholar. On the contrary, it rather qualifies you to be a self-important nincompoop, and the self-referential use of the title by so many of that ilk is at best absurd, at worst obnoxious.

So maybe I'm not a self-important nincompoop after all? What is for sure is that I am not a scholar, as Trueman's essay rightly observes.
